Camping, even close to home, has big advantages. Although we’ve explored all over central New Hampshire from home, we somehow never managed to discover Pasture Path; an easy-moderate hike with incredible views of Tuckerman Ravine.

On this beautiful Sunday afternoon, we took Frank’s advice and kept going after reaching the always lovely (and popular!) Warren transfer station. We encountered some fairly gnarly roads, a couple of low creek crossings, saw several great potential camp spots, and enjoyed an incredibly beautiful lake.
