There are few truly magical animals in the world. Fletcher was one of them.
We only got to know him for 6 years, but in that time he showed me what it looks like to live and love without boundaries.
We lost him today. And I have no words.

If you follow this blog, you know that Mr. Fletcher’s favorite thing is to smell the air. Whenever he finds spring lingering there, he’s particularly pleased.
We can’t leave, so we’ll just have to settle for campfires in the yard.
I think Mr. Fletcher is probably okay with hanging out at home.
Moving is never fun, but it’s always tiring. Eventually we got everything packed up and ready to go…
The new owners were wonderful to work with and we sailed through the closing with smiles all around.

While Alison is off scuba diving in the Great Blue Hole in Belize (pictures forthcoming!), the dogs and I decided to run a few errands. And of course they forced me into detour for a short local hike!
