Dogs on the March!
A perfect way to spend the holiday!
We spent an early fall weekend camping on the nearby coast of Maine.
With more than 3,478 miles of coastline, we always find something new when we visit. This trip we camped at Bradbury Mountain State Park and spent a long day hiking the Oven Mouth Preserves.
The fall color was just starting to hit in places so even a casual drive to the sample the local brew was full of interest.
“It’s important to keep good grooming habits, even when you’re on the road.”
Have you ever wondered what the perfect campground is like? Until this week, I thought there was only one. Lucky for us there’s another, and it’s in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
And there are even opportunities for Jeeping nearby! Can you believe it?!?
Perfect. (Except that you generally need reservations a year in advance…)
It’s official. St. Louis is a must-stop destination anytime we’re headed out across the mighty Mississippi. During our short two week stay, we met dozens of interesting people and even managed to spark a few new friendships.
St. Louis is filled with wonderful museums and parks — all free! So we unloaded our bikes and pedaled our way across the city in search of treasures…
I mean, just check out Johnnie Brock’s Dungeon Party Warehouse. Is there anything St. Louis can’t do?
It was tough to leave, but we’ll be back. Very soon…
The dogs had a FANTASTIC time — they were truly in their element.
I think Zorro would have preferred a pair of tiny dog snowshoes. After all, he’s really small and the snow is REALLY DEEP.
