At Home
Since 2021, my home has been a cabin in New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains. I share the cabin with an incredible rescue dog named Scully. While it’s not as rustic and off-grid as some, you’ll need a capable 4X4 if you plan to visit.
New Consulting Firm
Alison and I have launched an audio intelligence biz called PatternSonix. We’re consulting with companies who are working on music/sound-based AI projects — working to improve industry’s application of music and sound technology. It feels really nice to be stretching my computing muscles again, and it’s super fun to be back in the machine learning/AI space — which in 2024 is in overdrive.
New Music
Doctor Body is an ongoing musical collaboration between myself and Alison Wilder. This is our newest release:
And there’s PLENTY more new solo music available on my very active YouTube channel.
In The Studio
I maintain numerous projects and collaborations in a 7.1.4 studio built into my mountain cabin. You can hear my latest music here.
Travels
Last spring Scully and I took an extended overland/camping trip through the Blue Ridge Mountains to escape New England’s dreaded mud season. It was a wonderful way to turn fifty. Perhaps I’ll need to look at a similar trip this year?
Remote cabin life in the north country is full of challenges that are also deeply rewarding (and young Scully seems to approve).
