It took 1.5 centuries for European settlers to migrate across the mountains from the coast to Haverhill. When they did arrive, they found very few native people. Disease and warfare had reduced the population to ~500 in NH. #localhistory

Moose Sighting
Greg and I just had a double moose sighting while XC skiing! Still no photographic evidence…maybe next time. Those suckers are hard to catch on camera. Not because they’re fast, but because I just stand there awestruck.
