A few years ago, my wife and I traded east-coast city life for a homestead in the the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
We’ve never been happier.
Living in the Northeast megalopolis, we found our creative lives were suffering, our happiness was waning, and we craved a more immediate connection with the natural world.
This is not to say that living in cities, or suburbs, or anywhere really, isn’t perfect for some. It just wasn’t right for us anymore.
Since arriving in the North Country five (or so) years ago we got another dog, acquired some awesome backcountry XC skis, bought a house, and picked up a Jeep Rubicon along with an expedition trailer.
I guess you could say we’re #BecomingNewHampshire.
